Jeevans of Inspirational GurSikhs

WaheguruJi Ka Khalsa. WaheguruJi Ki Fateh.

Every generation needs role models to look up to. In today’s world, one seems to see less and less of them and no little wonder why we are losing our religion. More and more youth are shying away from the path of religion which is looked upon as if it’s an ancient thing to be religious. They believe that they can define their own spirituality and do not need the dictates of organised religion. Strange. They don’t seem to mind further education for their careers. Little do they realise that we also have a spiritual career to pay attention to. Different people see the same thing from different angles, but for a Sikh, there is only one angle to consider – that of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Our Guru is Guru Granth Sahib Ji and our mentors and role models are those that live to the Word of Gurbani and the way of the Guru.

In this section, you will find selections of Gurmukh lives of some of the best known and unknown Sikhs whose ways of life have already defined for us how the rehni, behni and sehni of a Sikh is to be like. If one is indeed passionate about Sikhi, he/she will realise that time changes, but our principles, morals and Sikh way of life is immortal.

If you know of GurSikhs (even those in today’s time) who are prime examples of who live Sikhi to the instruction of the Guru, do send me your suggestions. It’s important that we highlight these inspiring examples to our misled, mis-educated and uniformed youth that Sikhi is the most beautiful gift of the Guru which ensures a fruitful life on this earth, and a secured next world.

    Gurfateh ji

sharing with u my experience of being in the company of Gursikhs or Guru ji's Khalsas…. there is a sacred 'Asthan'; a Gurudwara in Panipat district of India, where Wade Sant ji did 'Tap' for 40 years…every khalsa there is living, as u said, in Guru ji's hukam!and its beautiful to see them blessed with such chardikala life…

one will never find anybody sitting idle there.e ither all khalsas are doing SIMRAN, PAATH or SEWA…..and most importantly with such humilty & love for Guru Maharaj that u feel blessed in their presence!

when u go there one is blessed with 'NAAM DI DAAT'! as one is sitting in sadh sangat that is continuously doing sewa & simran….one is naturally united in doing the same.there is so much bakshish & noor on the faces of the Bibiyaa & Khalsas there, that one cant stare at them….

there are Diwans held there few times a year, each year and sangat from everywhere makes it a point to be there & learn….

Presently Babaji and Bibiji reside there and they are ever ready to listen to the sangat's concerns.Dont get me wrong here. The sangat is requested not to matha take Baba ji or Bibi ji; only before Guru Granth Sahib JI for HE is our Guru.

there is so much more about this Asthan but am to small to say anthying & afraid lest i make any mistake!

i really wish Sikhs from all over the world make it to this Gurudwara once atleast & receive the happiness & blessings i have received and perhaps much more…..

i shall be posting more about this Asrhan in the near future.

    Guru rakha ji
