Worldly remains of a Sikh heritage

If paintings of our Gurus and of their beloved Sikhs touch our souls that long for their Darshan, what can one say about the very mortal remains that were once associated with the Gurus during their physical existence on the very earth we tread on today? A treat for the eyes and sense of touch, you can well imagine the very power your soul will feel if you could get the blessed opportunity to do so. These mortal remains serve a gret purpose in our development as Sikhs – they help us keep connected to our heritage, for a people who forget their yesterday are condemned to have no tomorrow. When we see these images, we imagine what it would have felt to have been in the presence of those blessed souls whose remains we today try to use to build some physical connection to our revered and glorious past.
